Indonesians enjoy Safe and Stylish Sex Via Guard

The latest opening of Guard, the first Indonesia’s first condom shop by an Australian woman offers it all. This shop can be taken as a symbol to promote safe sex in the world’s largest Muslim country.
Located at an upmarket shopping mall in Denpasar, on the island of Bali, the shop has sold countless condoms of varying color, texture, size and flavour. One of the condoms even tastes like Indonesia’s durian fruit - renowned for its pungent aroma.

Till date, many Indonesians are embarrassed with the very mention of condoms and consider its use as a licentious lifestyle.
DKT International, a non-profit, non-governmental organization that makes and sells condoms reveal with regret that in the country of 235 million people; only 90 million condoms are sold each year. The Indonesian Government estimates around 150,000-200,000 HIV patients in the country.
