This bookcase cum cave makes me recall a suggestion given to me by my teacher Lalit Mohan Gupta. “If you are planning to take a small-break while studying then don’t dare to leave your study room,” he use to murmur this. He has his own reason to say, which is enough to generate one’s belief.

His reason: if you move out of your study thinking you will be within 5-mins, you are wrong. One is you will be deviated as you will enter some other world and second is your senses won’t be at peace as they would be engaged in some activity. So even if by forcing yourself you manage to come back then also you mind is not fresh.

Designed by Milan-based Japanese designer Sakura Adachi, this unusual book-case is hollowed out in the middle, offering a place for the reader to sit. This is a perfect blessing for bookworms. It gives you the feel as if you are reading in the womb.
