Sruli Recht studied fashion at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and for the past 8 years he has devoted himself to film costumes. He is a renowned designer. Sruli Retch has presented his collection of shoes for 2008 and believe me, they are just awesome.

They are really bizarre and stylish. His collection testifies the fact that his creations are extra-ordinary and not mundane. The designs that he has presented are wonderful and innovative. It clearly shows that he has devoted time to ‘Making ugly things beautiful.’ ‘Making things without time.’ His work is the ‘result of process, not intention.’ Gives some insight into the way Recht works.

They were designed and made in collaboration with Brendan Dwyer in Melbourne. The materials that have been used in the collection are primarily materials like minke dork, goat, kangaroo and buffalo.

These shoes are made for special purposes. . For example ’silent stalking of beauty’ or ‘rapid dueling with advanced laser based weaponry’. They are the ultimate ones for Iceland trekking.
