Indonesia has been entrenched in merrymaking at the advent of its independence day. It is a matter of great celebration as the nation has completed 62 years of freedom. The grand occasion was celebrated in a grand and special way with the organization of a gala fashion show which created a lot of excitement among the people and dexterous designers.

All the designers who took part in the fashion show specially arranged for this great eve came out with lots of innovative ideas and their creations called for a huge round of applause.

The fashion show which was dated on 18 August 2007, took place the famous region of Jakarta. The show came out to be a big hit. The theme of the show was wedding. The designers exhibited the outfits which were designed for wedding purpose, but they had a tinge of patriotism blended in them. Each silhouette showed forth the spirit of patriotism through the choice of colors.

A local designer who took part in the “International Wedding Exhibition”, displayed the sense of nationalism by designing the dresses which were made for wedding, but the color scheme was that of the national flag. I liked the patterning very much.

Just look at the delicacy with which these apparels are made. The dexterous effort that has gone in the making tells the whole story.
