Nostalgia for the Golden Age: V&A Museum
The Victoria and Albert museum is taking the onus of remembering the gone days of the ‘the golden age’. The exhibition will be aimed at displaying the style of the couture of the bygone era. The enthusiasm that has been stimulated by the latest fashion week in the capital of Britain, will reach its pinnacle with this exhibition which is much awaited by the lovers of fashion. The celebrities such as Mario Testino and Kate Moss could not resist the temptation to be a part of the commencement party for this show. Many renowned designers will be a part of this presentation.
The show will cover the patterns of apparels ranging from the epoch 1947 to 1957. The display will include all the major fashion designers from Dior to all those who were less popular. The display will be organized in three separate halls. One will exhibit the manufacture of the garments; the second will characterize the pictures of famous outfits by well-known photographers, while the last one will display beautiful models on the ramp with fantabulous silhouettes designed by famous designers. The whole program will aim at showing you the maximum style of the period through videos, pictures, miniatures, and so on.
I suppose that no fashion-freak would like to miss such a great opportunity to sneak a peek at the gorgeous designs at this museum.
