The Milan Fashion Week: D&G

The Milan fashion week is on its peaks these days with world-renowned designers taking part in the grand occasion. The designer collections of various popular artists in this field are on the ramp. You can witness the collections of designers such as Burberry, Armani, Christopher Bailey, Prada, Gucci, and the like.

Here are some of the pictures from the spring/summer 2008 women collection by D&G on 24 September. The collection was inspired by Glastonbury festival. These are some of the designs which I found the most attractive.

The collection consisted of preppie oxford shirts, crew-neck cashmere pullovers, beautiful frilly silhouettes, long maxi-dresses, boyfriend pullovers, and so on. All these give a variety to the collection.

The models in the first picture look tom-boyish and casual. This one is really worth appreciation. Just look at the delicacy with which designing has been done. The combination of dull colors with bright ones looks really good. The voluminous frocks give the outlook of elegance. I really liked the peppy collection.
