Tomas Maier Spring-Summer 2008 Collection

25 September was obviously a day full of surprises for all the stylish people who love to witness various styles of silhouettes. The grand occasion was also the eve of the display of the designer collection by Tomas Maier. The collection was an appropriate one for all the professional women who like to look stylish and professional at the same time.

The colors used in the whole collection were not very bright and peppy, but plain ones like khaki, sand, gray, and other neutral colors suitable for work places. The use of vivacious and flowery prints was also deliberately avoided. The collection was made simple with the objective of giving respect and elegance to the modern working woman.

The dresses by Maier have an inner life, that is, he tries to facilitate the apparels with darts, slits, pleats and the similar things so that every woman can feel at ease to wear his products (if she can afford them). The collection overall was very, very professional and elegant.
