Tommy Hilfiger has launched online music channel Tommy TV

Fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger has teamed up with Sony to start his own online music channel Tommy TV.
The site will show live recordings of the Tommy Sessions, intimate concerts around Europe featuring top Sony artists such as Wyclef Jean performing alongside unsigned acts discovered through the fashion legend’s small screen platform.
Hilfiger said: “From the beginning, music has played a central role in inspiring my designs. I literally became a designer because of music. So I’m thrilled that some of the music talents have come together for the Hilfiger Sessions.”
But the fashion designer - who in the past has collaborated with artists such as The Rolling Stones, Lenny Kravitz, Britney Spears and Beyonce - insists artists will not have to wear his clothes while performing, unless they choose to.
