Ghost models at Paris: Yamamoto collection
Well, this is in deed shocking. We have never before encountered ghost models walking up the ramp. The ground breaking presentation by the famous fashion designer Yamamoto at Paris simply stunned the audience at the show. This model, Sergio Lo Re, that made his entry at the fashion show of Vivienne Westwood, is just like a ghost who has come alive. Actually, at a close look, he does not resemble ghostly figures, but his appearance for a distance speaks some frightening stories.
Yohji Yamamoto has really done a commendable job in bringing up these great ideas of ghost walk on the ramp. Such eclectic and innovative concepts are so much appreciated in the world of fashion. The creative fashion designer gave a new touch to fashion and style by designing extremely shabby suits which had scissor prints and some quite strange Chinese embroidery.
This is yet to be witnessed if this new trend of shabbiness works for women wear too. The ruggedness and untidiness in the attire can come out as a beautiful theme for fashion shows to be held in the month of September. How ironical!
