Tommy Bahama is no longer merely your dad’s cigar smoking, flowered Caribbean shirts that swim on even the largest of men. Last night, the fashion house unveiled their new line of women’s Swimwear, and I have to say that I am impressed. Large flowered prints with sexy but sporty cuts — this line will sure to be a hit for cougars and young chicks alike.

The best part of the show was that it was done on the beach with guests watching from campfire benches.

I got to watch the show in between the two backstage jobs I was doing (more of that to come).

This show was the only one of the evening which I though geared towards an American audience. Something that Jane Smith from the Midwest would wear on vacation. The line didn’t really symbolize the Miami crowd, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Tommy Bahama must know its audience.
